When Yahoo bought a British startup called Summly, an app that doesn't something we don't understand, recently for $28 million, the deal made 17-year-old Nick D'Aloisio one of the youngest self-made millionaires in the world. Outside of the worlds of music, acting and sports, how many teens have made themselves rich enough to afford a private jet? Not that the Australian native, who has lived in England for the past 10 years, expects to indulge in such luxuries. He told a newspaper that he expects to buy some new Nike shoes and maybe a computer.
Before Yahoo came along, the company was funded by, among others, Ashton Kutcher.
