Hollywood released 168 films with an R-rating, but only one of them ranks among the top 10 this year at the box office. That would be the talking teddy bear flick “Ted”, starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and the voice of Seth MacFarlane.
Fewer movies, 113, earned the PG-13 rating, but they earned the lion’s share at the box office. In fact, PG-13 movies took home twice as many much money ($4.7 billion in 2012) as the R films.
