A 21-year-old pregnant woman stopped to vote yesterday on the way to the hospital to deliver her baby. Galacia Malone was due. Her water had broken, but this was election day. So she stood in line at her polling place, cast her ballot, then eventually made her way to the hospital to birth a baby girl. The Cook Country Clerk told reporters (quote) “My hat goes off to Galicia for not letting anything get in the way of voting.”
