Police Chief Edward O'Leary thought he had seen it all. Then on Tuesday, along came the panicky burglar who called a Foxboro tow truck company to have his booty-laden pickup truck winched from the mud of the crime scene.
The tow operator notified police shortly before noon of the suspicious behavior of a driver whose truck he had just hauled from the rain-soaked sideyard of a Bailey Street home - and who then had peeled off across the front lawn of the property instead of keeping to the long, paved driveway.
