New Year's Resolutions
Happy New Year from GardenLine!
With the New Year, come countless resolutions, so why not add a few more to your list with regards to gardening in 2005.
The first and most important gardening resolution is one that I believe all the GardenLine devotees can help me out with this weekend. This is the year I want you, with your help, to convince all our neighbors, family and friends to commit to the GardenLine Lawn Fertilization Schedule. How can you help me with this resolution this weekend? If the schedule has worked for you, please call in and tell everyone who is listening.
It is such simple thing, to commit yourself to a (on the average) once-a-month application of something, per the Lawn Fertilization Schedule. I know the schedule works, not just because what it has done to my yards in the past, but because of all the KUDOS emails I get with attached pictures. Here's a great example of one from just a couple of months ago.
Dear Randy,
Here is a picture of my yard. It was the worst on the street and now it's the best in the subdivision. It's all due to you.
John H.
The reason this resolution is so important to me (and should be to you) is that despite my efforts to embrace Lawn Fertilization Services in general, my yard has never looked worse after using one for a year. It's not horrible by any stretch; it's just not up to "my standards." I know what works, and for those of you who have succeeded with my fertilization schedule you know how well it works too.
By the way, if you have never seen the Lawn Fertilization Schedule on our Website, please log on and see the new "Calendar" form too.

So, here's what I need from the believers and users of the schedule - call in to the program this weekend (713-212-KPRC or 713-212-5772), and help convince as many listeners as possible that this is the true path to the greenest yard on the block. For those of you who are subscribers to these email tips, but haven't committed to the schedule, please tune in this weekend and see if we can sway you.
And we will be talking about all kinds of other New Year's Resolutions related to gardening such as…
Starting a Vegetable Garden
Building a Deck
Becoming More Organic in Practices
Using Earth Kind Roses
Spending More Time Observing
Pay More Attention to Wildlife
Spend More Time Gardening With Children
I Will Buy Plants I Only Have Space For
I Will Start a Compost Pile This Year
And of course this most important Gardening Resolution
I WILL LISTEN TO GARDENLINE REGULARLY!
Let me hear from you this weekend.
And don't forget next weekend is the official start of the fruit tree sale season, < http://kprcradio.com/pages/listenernewsletter/GardenTalk_12-02-04.htm > for all the dates and locations.
