It’s no longer marijuana or even alcohol: prescription medicines have become the most abused drugs among 12 to 13 year olds. 70 percent of teens abusing these pills that they get them from family members and friends. Lisa tells us about Prescription Take Back Day which is 9/29. At several locations in town, anyone can turn in pills of any kind. No questions asked and the pills will be safely destroyed (don’t throw them down the drain, they’ no good for our waterways).
