Anheuser-Busch is Facing a Lawsuit for Watering Down Their Beer

.

Yesterday, a group of people in California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania filed a class action lawsuit against Anheuser-Busch InBev for WATERING DOWN THEIR BEER.

The lawsuit claims that water is added as the last step before the beer is put into bottles, cans, and kegs. That makes it so the alcohol content is anywhere from 3% to 8% lower than the alcohol content on the label.

Anheuser-Busch's regular beers, like Budweiser and Michelob, claim to be about 5% alcohol-by-volume on their labels. Their light beers, like Bud Light, claim to be about 4%. The law firms behind the suit say their independent testing found those claims are high.

The suit is seeking $5 MILLION. Anheuser-Busch says it's groundless.
