Oktoberfest in Germany started mid-September and ended this past weekend. What did we learn about this year's celebration? The final statistics are in.

Here's what you missed in Bavaria this year.

About 6.4 million people attended Oktoberfest this year, which is about 500,000 fewer than last year. But all signs suggest they got WAY DRUNKER . . .

They averaged 1.078 liters of beer per person, which is more than last year. That's the equivalent of about three cans of beer. Since most people there drink way more than that, it's safe to assume there were a lot of nondrinkers.

There were also 1,400 crimes . . . again, more than last year.

AND, there was a 20% increase in the number of people PASSING OUT DRUNK.

Gotta love Oktoberfest!

Prost!!
