Instead of red and blue states, maybe we should look at drinking and sober states this election.

MITT ROMNEY doesn't drink . . . and the White House recently released PRESIDENT OBAMA'S beer recipe.

But the REAL reason that alcohol could be a factor is that, according to research by the "Philadelphia Daily News", beer-drinking states are more likely to vote Democrat.

In 2008, the 24 states with the most breweries per square mile ALL voted for Barack Obama. So did D.C., which has the HIGHEST concentration of breweries.

That includes swing states like Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and Wisconsin.

Meanwhile, the nine states with the FEWEST breweries per square mile voted for JOHN MCCAIN . . . and overall, 18 of the 20 states with the fewest breweries went Republican.
