3rd Annual BrewMasters Craft Beer Festival

Labor Day Weekend on Galveston Island means two things: Lots of people, and The BrewMasters Beer Festival.
 
The latter is one that I look forward to every year. This festival is one of my favorites due to it being indoors with A/C.
 
This is not to even mention the large number of breweries represented. This year’s event was laid out with a little more space compared to the last making it easy to go from booth to booth.
 
The special brews were in good supply, with the tops to me being those from Southern Star Brewing Co. and Karbach Brewing Co. I also came to realize that while the Grand Tasting is a great part of this festival; all the extra events are well worth checking out.
 
I personally enjoyed the Craft Beer and Cigar Pairing Dinner and really wish I had made it to the Texas Brewery Tasting Tour. Over all Spec’s and Moody Gardens puts on a great event and I will continue to join in on the fun every year.
